I wish you could see the shine on this card! The background is covered in Adirondack Metallic Pearl paint.
The chick was shaded with Tim Holtz distress inks.
Eggs were "painted" by smooshing distress inks on a craft mat and spritzing with water. After flicking Ranger Perfect Pearls on top, I just pressed the image into the inks. In real life it is quite pearlized.
