A Woman of Grace- Art Journal Page

This art journal project was inspired by a quote I found on a blog post over at the Right Brain Planner. Check her out! Lots of good stuff about loving yourself, being creative, following your heart...sigh...

" A woman of grace knows that her strength comes from her journey. Thus, she journeys- even when she is weak". ~Teresa Jennings Robinson

Just so perfect for me and where I am in life right now, struggling with health issues and every day with its ups, downs, and unknowns. Yes, I am weak. Tired. Frustrated.
But I journey.

Supplies
leftover pink computer paper
stamps- Unity, Verve, Prima
rub-ons- Fancy Pants Designs
vintage book
pieces from old magazines
Elmer's glue stick
Sharpie markers
Staz on Black ink
Worn Lipstick Distress Ink
Pink Bubblegum Glimmer Mist
photo mat from an old collage frame
office tag

I just LOVE collage, don't you?

Making Valentines- A Layout

This year, filling out Valentines for classmates was quite the production. Each card was inspected and read carefully in order to choose just the right one for each person. My girls were careful to not send the wrong message to certain boys. Less than friendly girls did not get cards that said "BFF". And on and on and on. It was exhausting, but made for a cute layout!

I started with this sketch from PencilLines:

Supplies:
Paper- Basic Grey
Cardstock- CM
Die Cuts- Girls' Paperie
Flowers- Prima
Heart punches- CM
Viva Pink Glimmer Mist
Vellum title- CM
Adhesives- Helmar Adhesive Runner and 450 Quick Dry

Fall Scrapbook Pages

I LOVE fall! I love taking photos and scrapbooking fall events. Here are a couple of recent pages that I completed at a scrapbook retreat last month.

Using a "reverse matting" technique as taught by Becky Teichmiller of Scrap-Tastic. Products: Scrap-Tastic kit, Glimmer Mist, CM circle punch, Prima butterflies.

Also using a Scrap-Tastic kit. I won the orange bling during one of Becky's weekly classes. Love those Prima flowers with the feathers. Other products include stamps by Unity, Martha Stewart border punch, Chocolate Chip ink from SU, Glimmer Mist and Glimmer Chips.

Thanks for stopping by today and seeing some of the fun I've had this fall!
